Swami Balendu Ji was born 14th October 1971 in Vrindavan. His Father Goswami Balakram Sharan is a famous preacher and, spiri-tually, a very advanced personality. He has devoted all his life to spiritual pursuits, to the raising of moral standards and to spreading the message of universal Truth and spiritual knowledge. His grandfather Goswami Shree Bindu ji Maharaj, a widely known speaker, scholar, writer, musician and poet. He was invited several times by Mahatma Gandhi to give lectures. Goswami Shree Bindu ji Maharaj gave lectures where up to two Million people attended. Therefore Swami ji was very much blessed to grow up in this atmosphere of deep spirituality. Furthermore this environment created an indelible imprint in the mind and heart of Balendu ­ the child ­ and deliberately aroused a growing interest towards secret mysteries of spirituality.

His Father recognized his son's deep spiritual abilities and became his Guru. At the tender age of 9 Swami ji was able to give spiritual lectures and followed in his family’s traditions and the traditions of saints.

In 1996 Swami ji founded an Ashram at Vrindavan, where poor children are provided with food, drink and education free of charge. They receive lessons in meditation, Sanskrit and Yoga from qualified and experienced teachers.

Swami Balendu ji has been performing spiritual Healing ever since he emerged from his three and a half-year penance in the cave. Swami ji carries out this healing and also performs Hatha Yoga and Kriya Yoga all over India as well as in Europe. He has brought spiritual peace to many souls, irrespective of colour, creed and spiritual beliefs.

Yashendu Goswami, Swami Ji’s brother, who began his lecturing activities at the age of 13, is a renowned teacher of Yoga, Vedanta and Kriya Yoga. He is also an expert of Vedic Astrology.
